The Aboriginals are one of the oldest natives in the world. The Aboriginals were, as told, the first people to settle down in Australia . They were a bunch of people which travelled through water and wind to get a new start in a foreign country.
With the arrival of the Aboriginals the wildlife of Australia would never be the same again. They fed themselves by hunting, and the mammoths got the worst acquaintance. Thorough just a couple of thousands of years, the Aboriginals eradicated all animals with a higher body weight than themselves with just one exception; the saltwater crocodile. When it comes to the animals which were smaller than the normal aboriginal, they mostly survived, and that is one of the main reasons why the animals today are smaller in Australia than they were before. Though the time passed by, the population rose but no agriculture were started, which concluded with mass-murdering and extinction of already threatened meat animals.
The Aboriginals lived a life in peace and goodness, before all of a sudden an Englishmen named James Coo k and his crew crossed over to the Australian continent in 1770. Followed by Europeans, the Aboriginals were driven back from their landmarks. The land was now in the hands of “the white man”, which used it for prison and slave trade.
In 1770 when James Cook crossed the border with his men, he brought with him deadly diseases and from Europe which made the Aboriginals drop dead like flowers. The reason was that their immune system didn’t hold. Around 90% of the people of the 300’000 Aboriginals died thorough sickness and other crimes done by the Europeans, and the remaining 10% who survived were danger close of being shot, or taken as slaves if they didn’t to exactly what the European told them to.
All time from the beginning, the relationship between The Aboriginals and the Europeans had been tight. The relationship reached a boiling point at the end of the 18 century, and then the Aboriginals were totally eradicated from the island of Tasmania and pushed back further into their country on other landmarks. Continuing with great force controlling Australia, the Europeans started a new campaign. The campaign which later would be called; “the stolen generation” went out on distinguish the children from their parents and then send them to orphanages to give them a civilised and a Christian childhood and education. What often happened was that the children got married by force with other people when they got old. This increased the bad relationship between the Aboriginals and the Europeans.
Though the living conditions for the Aboriginals increased to better after World War 2, the Aboriginals didn’t get their citizenship equal with the other Australians before the year of 1967, when the world thought peace was restored in Australia. But it wasn’t; in 1992 an amateur video of the police with such a bad behaviour against the Aboriginals, and the country made a real clean up. Today in Australia there is still one political party which means the Aboriginals should not have the same rights as the white man, and the other way the Aboriginals are fighting to get their land back which were taken by the Europeans.
